Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest

Hundreds of Scientologists assembled at the Váci Road church in Budapest to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology’s Ideal Org on Váci Road.
Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become an important news european elections meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary brought together a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.
Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
